To a pure 100ml liquid 'A' having molarity 3M and density `(3)/(2)gm/ml, 100ml of another pure liquid 'B' having molarity 8M density 2 gm/ml is mixed, then find molallity of final liquid solution formed.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`M=1000xx(d)/(M_(A))`
`M_(A)=500gm//mol`
Similarly `M_(B)=250gm//mol`
`n_(A)=(150)/(500)=0.3`
`n_(B)=(200)/(250)=0.8`
`rArr A` is solute
`m=(n_(A))/(w_(B))xx1000`
`m=(0.3)/(200)xx1000=1.5`
`(1.5)/(0.3)=5`
