(a) Alkalosis is a pathophysioical in which there is ian increise of alkali reseve (concentration of` NaHCO_(3)` in blood above the normal level . For this pH of blood rises abave 7.4.(b) Causes of alkalosis are : (i) Excessive ingestion of alkali , (ii) Prolonged vomitting or excessive removel of gastric juice.
