Explain with mechanism why the reaction between `O_(3)and H_(2)O_(2)` written as-
`O_(3)(g)+H_(2)O_(2)(l)toH_(2)O(l)+O_(2)(g)+O_(2)(g)`

The reaction between `O_(3)and H_(2)O_(2)` os an follow
First step : `O_(3)toO_(2)+O(g)`
Second step : `H_(2)O_(2)(g)+O(g)toH_(2)O(g)+O_(2)(g)`
In the first step ,ozone produces nascent oxygen which oxidises `H_(2)O_(2)` in the second step ,So the overall reaction is as follows -`H_(2)O_(2)+O_(3)toH_(2)O+O_(2)+O_(2)`
So, in the overall reaction , `O_(2)` is written twice because total two molecules of `O_(2)` are produced during the reaction.
