What is average speed `(barc or u_(av))` ?

It is the arithmatic mean of the speed of different molecules of the gas at a given temperature if `n_(1)` molecules have speed `v_(1),n_(2)` molecules have speed `v_(2)n_(2)` molecules have speed `V_(3)` and so on. Average speed is related to the molar mass (M) of the gas the temperature (T) as follows.
`barC (or U_(av))= sqrt((8RT)/(pi M))`
