What are Isothermal and Adiabatic process?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Isotherman process: A process is said to be isothermal in case the temperature of the system remains fixed or constnat i.e., operation is carried at constant temeprature.
Adiabatic process: In an adiabatic process, no exchange of heat between the system and the surroundings is possible i.e., the system is completely isolated or insulated from the surroundings.
