Find the capacity in litres of a conical vessel with(i) radius 7 cm, slant height 25 cm (ii) height 12 cm, slant height 13 cm

The capacity of a conical vessel = Volume of conical vessel
Volume of cone,`V = 1/3pir^2h`
(i)Here, `r = 7cm, l = 25cm`
So, `h = sqrt(l^2-r^2) = sqrt(25^2-7^2) = sqrt576 = 24cm`
`:.V = 1/3**22/7**7**7**24=154**8 =1232cm^3`
We know `1 cm^3 = 1/1000 litre`
So, `V ~= 1.232` `litres`
