The equilibrium constant for a reaction ...

The equilibrium constant for a reaction is one or more if `DeltaG^Ө` for it is less than zero.Explain .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`DeltaG^Ө`=-RT ln K, thus if `DetlaG^Ө` is less than zero i.e., it is negative , then Ink will be positive and hence K will be greater than one .
