Let the age of Seeta be 3x and the age of Geeta be 4x.
`4x xx 3x = 48 rArr 12x^(2) = 48 rArr x =2`
Seet's age = 6y and Geet's age = 8 years
`therefore ` The sum of their ages = 14 years
