Why do we use a sharp contiuous metla blade for cutting a mango and a blade with many small teeth fo cutting metals ?

The sharp teeth concentrate all the force onto a very small area, resulting in a high pressure which allows it to penterate, into the work piece. Mango is a soft material. So, for cutting it, we require only small effort. Therefore, we use a continuous pointed edge knife.
