Density of the mixture `(d_(m)`
`=( "mass of P +mass of Q")/("Volume of P + Volume of Q")`
`rArr d_(m)= (m_(p)+ m_(Q))/(V_(p)+ V_(Q))=(d_(p)xx V_(Q)+d_(Q) xx V_(Q))/(V_(p) +V_(Q))`
But `V_(p)=V_(Q)=x`
`d_(m)= (d_(p)xx x + d_(Q) xx x)/(2x)=(d_(p)+d_(Q))/ (2)`
`=(1.5+1.3)/(2)=(2.8)/2= 1.4g cm^(-3)`
