The correct Answer is:
D

Initially Ashok and Ravi stand at a distance of 3 m from the mirror.
After Ashok moved 5 steps towards the mirror, then his distance from the mirror =3m -5(30) cm
=3 m=-1.5 m
`=1.5 m`.
After Ravi moved away from the mirro, his distance from the mirror =3m + 8(25) cm
=3m + 2m =5 m
Therefore , the distance between Ravi and the image of Ashok
=1.5 m + 5 m =6.5 m.
Hence, the correct option is (d)
