Poverty is one of the main factors for malnutrition. Many children do not get proper balanced diet due to insufficient earning of the parents. Such children are fed with unbalanced diet. Children fed with rice have protein dificiency in them. Nutritional requriement cannot be fulfilled due to non- availability of food. This condition leads to malnutrition.
