Bones connot move by themslves. They are attached to muscles at their end have white fibres called tendons which connedt them to bones. Tendons attached to bones pull the bones and make them move near the joints. Thus, tendons of muscles help in pulling the bone near the joints and help in movement. When the arm is reised, biceps decrease and become shorter and pull the arm and it helps in lifting weight.
