(i) Anionic detergents: These are so called because a large part of their molecules are anions. These are of two types:
(a) Sodium alkl sulphates: For example, Sodium lauryl sulphate `-C_(17)H_(23) CH_(2) OSO_(3) Na`
(b) Sodium alkyl benzene sulphonates:

(ii) Broad spectrum antibiotics: Antibiotics are the drugs which are made from micro organism to kill micro -organism. Broad spectrum antibiotics are effective against several different types of harmful bacteria. For example, tetracyline, chloramphenicol, ofloxacin etc.
(iii) Antiseptic : They are the chemical substances which prevent the growth of micro-organism and may even kill them. They are safe to be applied to living tissues
For example, Dettol, Savlon, Iodine, Boric acid etc.
