In this case, let `m_w` be the mass of wooden sphere and `p_w` be its density. Then, volume of water displaced by the combination initially is `V=(m_(1)+m_(w))/(p) =(m_(i))/(p)+m_(w)/p`
When the ice melts, the wooden hollow sphere will float on the water
Total volume of water added by melting of ice and that displaced by the wooden sphere is `V.=m_(i)/p+m_(w)/p`
Compairing (i) and (ii) again, we get
V.=V
The level of water in this case will remain same.
