A charged 30 mu F capacitor is connected...

A charged 30 `mu F` capacitor is connected to a 27 mH inductor. What is the angular frequency of free oscillations of the circuit ?

Text Solution

Given, capacitance, C = 30 `mu F = 30 xx 10^(-6)` F
Inductance, L = 27 mH = `27 xx 10^(-3) ` H
Angular frequency of oscillations is given by
`omega_(0) = (1)/(sqrt(LC))`
= `(1)/(sqrt(30 xx 10^(-6) xx 27 xx 10^(-3)))`
or `" " omega_(0) = 1.1 xx 10^(3) "rad " s^(-1)`.
