In an LCR circuit, the voltages across the components are `V_(L) , V_(C)` and `V_(R)` respectively. The voltage of source will be -

A

V = `V_(R) + V_(L) + V_(C )`

B

`V = sqrt(V_(R)^(2) + (V_(L) - V_(C))^(2)) `

C

`V = sqrt(V_(L)^(2) + (V_(R) - V_(C))^(2)) `

D

`V = sqrt(V_(C)^(2) + (V_(R) - V_(L))^(2)) `

The correct Answer is:
B

(d ) Option (d ) is corrent . When frequency is equal to resonance frequency then current is maximum . For frequencies below and over the resonance frequency, current decreases due to increase in reactance of the circuit . At resonance reactance of the circuit becomes zero .
