Given capacitance of parallel plate capacitor
`C = mu F = 2 xx 10 ^(-6) F `
Required displacement current ` I _d mA = 10 ^(-3)A `
since displacement current ` i_d` - conduction current `(i_c)`
` therefore i_d = i_c = (d)/(dt ) (CV ) = C = (dv )/( dt ) `
` = > (dv)/(dt ) = (i_d)/( C ) = ( 10^(-3) )/( 2xx 10^(-6 ) = 500 V/s `
thus a varying potential differnce of 50 V/s is to be applied to get a desired value of the displacement current .
