How do energy and speed of the light wave change when it travels from a rarer to denser medium?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

As the light wave enters from a rarer to denser medium, its speed decreases but energy remains unchanged as energy varies with the amplitude of the wave and is independent of the speed of light.
