Purkinje fibres. These are highly branched special cardiac muscle fibres forming a network in the wall of both the ventricles . These have least rhythmicity but maximum conductivity .
(b) Bundle of His (also called Auriculo -ventricular Bundle) . It is a special band of cardiac muscle fibres which arises from AV-node , descends in the interventricular septum and divides into two branches to supply the musculature of both the ventricles.
