ADA deficiency or SCID (Severe Combined Immuno Deficicney) is an autosomal recessive metabolie disorder. It is caused by the deletion or dysfunction of the gene coding for ADA enzyme. n these patients the nonfunctioning T-Lymphocytes cannot elicit immune responses against invading pathogens
