(a) The installing cost of solar cell panel is high, as the silicon wafer is very expensive and also the silver used in connecting solar cells.
(b)D.C.electricity is produced. To operate any A.C.device, this D.C. has to be connected in, as by using inverter.
(c) The efficiency of energy conversion is low as compared to other means of generating electricity.
