Two metal sheets of infinite width carry...

Two metal sheets of infinite width carrying current K per unit width, as shown in the figure, are kept parallel to each other. The direction of current in both the sheets is opposite to each other. A charged particle q of mass m is projected with a speed u perpendicularly into the plane of paper. What will be the radius of the circular path traversed by the charged particle due to magnetic field of sheets?

in the given arrangement of sheets of current, magnetic field of two sheets, in-between them are added. Magnetic field due to one sheet is `B_(1) = mu_(0)K//2`. Hence, the net magnetic field due to both the sheets in between them will be:
` B = 2 xx B_(1) = mu_(0)K`
When the charged particle is projected perpendicular to the magnetic field then its radius of circular motion is given by:
` r = (mv)/(qB) = (mv)/(mu_(0)qK) `
