Convert:
(i) `4.86 kg L^(-1)` to grams per millilitre.
(ii) 1.86 km to cm.
(iii) `6.92 xx 10^(-7)` m to micrometres and Angstroms.
(iv) `9.2 xx 10^(-3) cm^(3)` to litres.

The correct Answer is:
A, B, C, D

(i) 1kg = 1000g, 1 litre `=10^(3)` mL
Unit factor: `1 = (1000 g)/(kg)`, Unit factor : `1=(1 "litre")/(10^(3) mL)`
`therefore (4.86 kg)/L = (4.86 kg)/L xx (1000 g)/(kg) xx ("litre")/(10^(3) mL) = 4.86` g/mL.
(ii) 1.86 km to cm
1 km = `10^(5)` cm
unit factor: `1 = (10^(5) cm)/(km)`
`=1.86 xx 10^(5)` cm
(iii) `1m = 10^(6) mu`m
Unit factor : `1=(10^(6) mu m)/m`
`therefore 6.62 xx 10^(-7) m xx (10^(6) mu m)/m = 0.692 mu m`
`=6920 Å`
(iv) 1 litre `=10^(3) cm^(3)`
Unit factor : 1 `=(1"litre")/(10^(3)cm^(2))`
`=9.2 xx 10^(-6)` litre.
