(i) 500 Mg (mass of jumbo jet loaded)
(ii) `3.34 xx 10^(-24)`g (mass of hydrogen molecule)

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
A, B, C, D

(i) 500 mg in kiloram
500 mg `=500 xx 10^(6)`g
1 kg `=10^(3)` g
Unit factor: `1=(1 kg)/(10^(3) g)`
`=5.0 xx 10^(5)` kg
(ii) `1 kg = 10^(3)`g
Unit factor : 1 `=(1 kg)/(10^(3)kg)`
`therefore 3.34 xx 10^(-24) g = 3.34 xx 10^(-24) g xx (1 kg)/(10^(3)g)`
`=3.34 xx 10^(-27)` kg
