Before explosion `vec(a)_(cm)=(vec(F)_(ext))/(M)=(mg)/(M)=g`
After expiosion `a_(cm)=(F_(ext))/(M)=(m_(1)g+m_(2)g+m_(3)g+….)/(m_(1)+m_(2)+m_(3)+…)=g`
During explosion the forces acting on the particles of the system are internal forces or impact forces If we take the total particles, that means the bomb as a system. The centre of mass of the bomb will continue to move in its initial parabolic path.
