Gravitational force acts on all objects in properties to their masses. Why then, a heavy object does not fall faster than a light object?

The gravitational force acting on a body of mass m is given by
`F = (GMm)/(r^(2)) = mg`
`g = (GM)/(r^(2))`
So, we can see that acceleration due to gravity will be same for all objects falling under the gravitational attraction of the earth, irespective of their masses. So, they all fall with same acceleration if the air resistance is neglected.
