Is it possible for a body to have inertia but no weight?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Yes, a body will always have mass but the gravitational force on it can be zero, for example, when it is kept at the centre of the earth. Inertia of a body is due to its mass, so it will always have an inertia even if weight is absent.
