Artificial satellites are launched with the help of the duel of the first stage rocket starts burning and the rocket attains a desired height with a definite speed. After this the first stage is detached from the rocket and the fuel of the second stage starts burning and the height and speed attained by the rocket increase. Again the second stage is detached from the rocket and the fuel of the next stage starts burning. This process continues till the last stage of the rocket starts burning and the desired speed and height is attained by the rocket and the body placed at the nose l of the rocket is projected horizontally by some mechanical arrangement. The body then starts orbiting and becomes a satellite of earth.
