Calculate the emitter current in a trans...

Calculate the emitter current in a transistor for which `beta = 50` , base current `I_(B) = 25 mu A` .

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Data supplied ,
`beta = 50 , I_(B) = 25 mu A = 0.025 mA , beta = (I_(C))/(I_(B))`
`I_(C) = beta I_(B) = 50 xx 0.025 = 1.25` mA
`I_(E) = I_(B) + I_(C) = 0.025 + 1.25 = 1.275` mA
