Vegetative reproduction in plants is a type of asexual repoduction in which new individual appers from any vegetative part of parnet plants. In palnts , the units of vegetative part of parent . In plants , the units of vegetative propagation such as runner , rhizone sucker, tube , offset , bulb are all capable of giving rise to new offspring , Such structures are called vegetative propagules .
Example of vegetative propagation .
(i) Vegetative propagation by leaves in Bryophyllum .
(ii) Vegetative propagation by stem (rhizome ) in Ginger, Turmeric etc .
