Describe the post-fertilization changes in a flower.

In flowering plants , zygotes is formed inside the ovule. After fertilization , sepals , petals and stamers of the flower wither and fall off. The pistil remains attached to the flower . Zygote forms the embryo and ovule having embryo forms the seed. Ovary develops into fruit . Pericarp is protective in fuction . After dispersal of furits and seeds germinate to from new plants during suitable germinating conditions .
