With which type of reproduction do we associate the reduction division? Analse the reason for it.

Meiois (reduction divison ) takes place in sexual reproduction . If the organism is diploid,meiosis takes place to form male and female gametes (gametic meiosis ) Which are haploid. If the organism is haploid, meiosis occurs in zygote (zygotic meiosis) which is diploid. Meiosis take place to keep the chromosome number constant in sexuall repoducing organisms.
