Is it possible to consider vegetative propagation observed in certain plants like Bryophyllum, water hyacinth, ginger, etc., as a type of asexual reproduction? Give two three resons.

Vegetative propagation is the process of multiplicatioin which a portain or fragment of the plant body functions as propagule and develops into a new individual . It is a type of asexual reproduction because in both of them.
(i) New plants are formed without the act of fertilization or sexual union .
(ii) Gametes are not required ot reproduce .
(iii) Plants produced are identical as meiosis does not occur.
