In angiosperms , zygote is diploid while primary endosperm cell is triploid . Explain.

Zygote is diploid due to fusion of one male gamete(n) and the egg cell(n). Endosperm is formed by fusion of three haploid nuclei i.e. 2 polar bodies and one male gamete called triple fusion.
