LH (Luteinizing Hormone) is a gonadotropic hormone secreted by anterior lobe of pituitary gland. In female, LH stimulates ovulation from the ovary, transformation of empty graffian follicle into corpus luteum, and secretion of progesterone from corpus luteum. In male, LH (also called ICSH) stimulates Leydig.s cells to secrete testosterone hormone
