Why there is no accumulation of organic compounds and origin of life presently?.

Explanation

Protopterus (Lung fish) is called a connecting link because it has some character of bony fishes (e.g. paired fins, dermal scales, gills and lateral line sytem )as well as some characters of amphibians (e.g 3- chambered heart and lungs). It supports the idea of origin of amphibians form the fishes.
Presently there is no accumulation of organic compounds and origin of life as the present atomosphere is oxidising due to abundance of oxygen which oxidises the intermediate compounds . Presently, the consumers are also present which consume the intermediate compounds formed if any.
