A 10 V cell of negligible internal resistance is connected in parallel across a battery of emf 200 V and internal resistance 38 `Omega` as shown in the Fig. Find the value of current in the circuit.

Net voltage in the circuit V= (200 – 10) V= 190 V and net resistance `R = 38 Omega`
` therefore ` Value of current in the circuit `I = V/R = 190/38 = 5A`
