Differentiate between electrical resistance and resistivity of a conductor.

Resistance of a conductor is a measure of the opposition offered by it for flow of electric current through it. Resistance of a conductor depends upon its dimensions and the nature of its material The resistivity of a conductor is the property depending solely on its material and is defined as the resistance offered by a conductor of that material having unit length and unit cross-section area.
