Show that Delta ABC with vertices A(-2, ...

Show that `Delta ABC` with vertices A(-2, 0), B(0, 2) and C(2, 0) is similar to `Delta DEF` with vertices D(-4, 0), F(4, 0) and E(0, 4).

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Find the length of sides AB, BC and CA of `Delta` ABC and of sides DE, EF and FD of `Delta` DEF.
Then, show that `(AB)/(DE) = (BC)/(EF) = (CA)/(FD).`
