A spreadsheet of MS Excel is a rectangula table (or grid) to store information. The spreadsheets are located in Workbooks or Excel files. Most of the MS Excel screen is devoted to the display of the worksheet, which consists of rows and columns. The intersection of a row and column is a rectangular area, which is called a cell. In other words, a worksheet is make up of cells. An Excel worksheet contains 16, 384 rows, numbered 1 through 16,384 and 256 columns.
