Let the complex nuber z = x+ iy
Also given |z-i|=|z-1|
`rArr | x+iy -I |=|x+ iy -1|`
`rArr sqrt(x^2+(y-1)^2=sqrt((x-1)^2+y^2)`
`[therefore|z| = sqrt((Re(z))^2+Im(z)^2)]`
On squaring both sides , we get
`x^2+y^2-2y+1=x^2+y^22x+1`
