The correct Answer is:
B

Let Cost price of article be x
`S.P =x -(25)/(100) x = 7500`
`(75)/(100)x = 7500`
`x = (7500 xx 100)/(75) = 10000`
S.P of article to have gain 25% `= 100 + (25)/(100) xx 10000 =₹ 12500`
Alternate Solutions :
For loss of 25%
`(3)/(4) = (SP to 7500)/(CP) rArr CP = (4 xx 7500)/(3) = 10000 ₹`
For 25% profit.
`SP = (5)/(4) xx 1000 = 12500₹`
