D

Given market price of machine = ₹18000
`therefore` Discoount `= (20)/(100) xx 18000 = ₹ 3600`
`therefore` S.P = 18000 - 3600 ₹ 14400
If loss of 4% then
`CP = (100 xx SP)/(100-r) = (100 xx 14400)/(100-4)`
`= (100xx 14400)/(96) = ₹ 15000`
