Express the relation among cell constant...

Express the relation among cell constant, resistance of the solution in the cell and conductivity of the solution. How is molar conductivity of a solution related to its conductivity ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Relation between cell constant G*, resistance of the solution R and conductivity K of the solution is given by G* = RK
Relation between molar conductivity `Lambda_(m)` and conductivity k is given by
`Lambda_(m) = k/C`
where C is the concentration of the solution.
