Applying the KCL to junction B and D,
`I_(1)=I_(3)+I_(g)`
`I_(4)=I_(2)+I_(g)`
Applying KVL to the mesh ABDA,
`I_(1)P+I_(g) G-I_(2)R=0`
`I_(1)P+I_(g)=I_(2)R`
Applying KVL to the mesh For a balanced condition of Wheatstone.s network,
`I_(g)=0`
`therefore` (i) and (ii) may be written as
`I_(1)O=I_(2)R`
(iii) and (iv) may be written as and (v) gives `(P)/(Q)=(R )/(S)`
