On absorbing radiation of 12.1 eV energy, total energy of atom `= - 13.6 + 12.1= - 1.5 eV` and it corresponds to n = 3 state. As per Bohr.s thcory now the atom can emit 3 spectral lines corresponding to 3-1, 3-2 and 2-1 transitions.
