In any triangle ABC, if a=\ 18 , b=\ 24 ...

In any triangle ABC, if `a=\ 18 , b=\ 24 , c=\ 30`, findsinA, sinB, sinC

A

`(1)/(4)`

B

`(1)/(3)`

C

`(1)/(2)`

D

1

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
D

`cos C = (a^(2)+b^(2)-c^(2))/(ab)`
`rArr cos C = ((18)^(2)+(24)^(2)-(30)^(2))/(2xx18xx24)=(9+16-5^(2))/(2xx3xx4)=0`
Now, `sin C = sqrt(1-cos^(2)C)=sqrt(1-0)=1`
Hence sin C = 1
