In `DeltaABC` If, `(sin^2A+sin^2B+sin^2C)/(cos^2A+cos^2B+cos^2C)`=2 Then the triangle is

A

right-angled

B

equilateral

C

isosceles

D

obtuse-angled

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
A

Given, `(sin^(2)A+sin^(2)B+sin^(2)C)/(cos^(2)A+cos^(2)B+cos^(2)C)=2`.
Let us take `A = 30^(@), B = 60^(@), C = 90^(@)`
`(sin^(2)30^(@)+sin^(2)60^(@)+sin^(2)90^(@))/(cos^(2)30^(@)+cos^(2)60^(@)+cos^(2)90^(@))`
`=((1)/(4)+(3)/(4)+1)/((3)/(4)+(1)/(4)+0)=(1+1)/(1)=(2)/(1)=2`.
So, the given triangle is right-angled triangle.
