Write difference between `C_P-C_V=R, C_P-C_V=R/J`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When `C_P` and `C_V` are in joule then `C_P-C_V=R` is used for mole amount of gas.
When `C_P` and `C_V` are in calorie then `C_P - C_V =R/J` is used.
When `C_P` and `C_V` are in calorie unit and mass of gas is unit then `C_P-C_V=r/J` is used.
